I am greatly delighted to welcome you to Nutan Vidya Mandir Education Society’s Late Sow. Kamaltai Jamkar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Parbhani. The institution is established in June 1983 and is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. This renowned society founded by Bharatbhushan Late Raosahebji Jamkar in 1916, is imparting quality education to all the masses of the society.
The institution has 11 acres of own land. It should give both knowledge and wisdom. We are cordially striving to increase the academic quality of the students and how to develop their personality. This gives scope to the artistic qualities of the students. There is an opportunity for education based on professional skills.
The institution was accredited with ‘B+’ grade CGPA 75.35 by NAAC in 2004. It has been reaccredited with ‘A’ Grade CGPA 3.02 in 2013 and “B++’ grade with CGPA 2.92 in 2018. This will boost us to undertake new and innovative activities for the benefit of our students.
Presently, the institution offers 4 UG (BA B Com BCA and B Voc Fashion Technology) and 6 PG (MA (Music), MA (History), MA (Home Science), M Com, M. Sc (Computer Science, M Voc Fashion Technology) programmes. This includes traditional as well as professional courses. To prepare students for global challenges and competencies, the institute conducts 27 certificate and Diploma courses along with SWAYAM Online Courses. the students who could not get regular education due to different reasons our institute runs Center of Yeshwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik and Distance Education Center of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.
Higher quality faculty are constantly in touch with the students to understand their hurdles and help them in difficulty. They are trying to instill a sense of belonging in the students.
The college has constructed an indoor stadium so that the female students can play freely. At the same time, a separate women’s gym has been made available to maintain good health. Sports activities are organized at state and national level to create awareness. The students who are interested in social work, Women Study Center is available to do social work through the Center. Women empowerment programmes are conducted under this Center.
Various entrepreneurship and other skill-based activities are implemented to develop inherent skills of the students. Subjects like business, GST are taught. Vocational courses are available for students. Hostels are in place for girls at reasonable rates.
In this way, the students who work for the academic quality and personality development. Students are awarded prizes for their achievements. Students are motivated to increase academic quality. Earn and Learn Scheme is introduced for the welfare of students. Students are motivated to participate in various cocurricular, extra-curricular activities.
The institution cannot prosper without teamwork. For this, we have highly qualified faculty members. Office staff also strives to provide efficiency and effectiveness to all.
